Positive mental health level of outpatients in community centers according to socio-demographic variables in Arequipa, Peru

Positive mental health is a state of health, which supports people in face different difficulties, enabling them to identify their social skills, with the aim being more productive, emotionally stable and proactive, helping promoting community development. Objective: We analyzed positive level outpatients according socio-demographic variables centers Arequipa, Peru. Methods: Descriptive, quantitative cross-sectional study; 1440 from over age 18 participated. The Lluch Mental Health Scale, was verified by Calizaya et al. for Peru, applied, taking into account adaptability, personal satisfaction-autonomy frustration tolerance. Results: general PMH patients medium (89.2%); adaptability dimension (F1), high (73.1%). However, levels satisfaction autonomy (F2) tolerance (F3) were low, 88.5% 86.0%, respectively. There no difference between female male patients, nor diagnosis any disease (p > 0.05). due educational < 0.05), higher obtained scores.
